Beth Ann McCoy-Gee
Beth Ann is a 30+ year veteran in the Animation Industry, doing production, ink and paint, color styling, model mark-up and much more!
Beth Ann got her start in television animation at Hanna-Barbara where she was trained to traditionally ink and paint animation cels. She worked on shows like the original He-man and the Masters of the Universe, Scooby-Doo and the 13 Ghosts, Smurfs and other childhood favorites.
In the mid 80s she helped establish the first solely owned American animation studio - Pacific Rim Animation - in the People's Republic of China, where she created the first feature animation overseas ink and paint unit on Walt Disney Feature Animation's The Little Mermaid. Following Mermaid, she set up the overseas ink and paint unit for Walt Disney Feature Animation on their 2D featurette The Prince and the Pauper.
By the time Beth Ann returned stateside to Walt Disney Feature Animation in the early 90s , ink and paint was shifting to a digital system, called the CAPS System. She finished her career at Walt Disney Animation in 2003, with 20 movie titles in her filmography.
In the mid-2000's Beth Ann moved onto the field of animation art restoration working at S/R Laboratories. This included color mixing/matching, painting and inking animation cels and special projects such as Courvoisier Miniatures and D23 Convention.
She works from home on freelance private client restorations and contract work. She currently has her own home studio and is preparing to launch a new home for animation restoration in Southern California Summer 2026.

Helped grow the business into a major competitor in the early age of overseas animation, finally securing a place in history as Disney’s choice to send The Little Mermaid, to be inked and painted by local inkers I hand selected and trained.
